February 6, 2026

🇪🇺 Huge News: Vivita is taking child-led design to the European stage!

We are thrilled to announce that Vivita Lahenduste Laboratoorium has been awarded a strategic grant under the EU’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme for our project: Future Blocks. The project is being developed in partnership with the Eesti Rahvusraamatukogu / National Library of Estonia, the University of Groningen, schools, and municipalities. Together, we are building an international model to make children’s participation in community development a core European democratic value. Why this matters

🏗️At Vivita, our mission is to move from tokenistic engagement to genuine co-creation. Being selected under the "Rights of the Child and Children’s Participation" call validates our belief that children are active citizens today, not just "future" ones.Investing in children and their worldview is not a side activity, but the foundation of our society. How much we trust their ideas today determines the world we live in tomorrow.Project: Future Blocks (2026–2027)

💡With this strategic EU support, we are launching an ambitious roadmap:

🔹 24 Design Sprints: Working across Estonia to turn kids' ideas into tangible solutions and viable models.

🔹 Nationwide Exhibition: A traveling showcase touring 15 county libraries to bring these visions to the public eye.

🔹 EU-Wide Impact: Developing an open-access toolkit for all European Union municipalities to make child-led design accessible to all.Our Ambitious Goal:

We are striving for a future where at least 30% of the solutions proposed by children are implemented by local authorities. Our mission is to provide the evidence and tools to make that level of influence a reality. When a child realizes, "I can make a difference," the world changes. Let’s build the world they deserve—together.
